Optical test equipment is used to measure and characterise the properties of light typically for the purpose of communication. As the demand for higher capacity communication networks continues to increase, there is an ever-increasing need for precision equipment. Test equipment is needed from understanding the properties in the optical domain to determine if the components are suitable for communication systems as well as characterisation of optical properties during the research and development phases.
