100G Optical Transceivers

100G transceivers are pluggable devices that operate fiber optic transmissions at data rates up to 100 Gbps. The standards for 100G optical transceivers include SR4 (Short Reach), SR10, DR1, LR4 (Long Reach), ER4, and ZR4. SR4 and SR10 are used for short-distance transmission while LR4, ER4, and ZR4 are used for long-distance transmissions up to 100km.
