Designed using a 13010nm EML and single photodiode within an industry standard QSFP28 form factor. The electrical interface is based on IEEE802.3 CAUI-4 retimed interface. Supporting DR specifications, the 100Gbase DR1 QSFP28 module is ideally suited to 100G applications up to 500m distances where cost-effective high port density is required. The useful DDM functionality (alarm and warning features) is integrated into the design via an I2C serial interface as per the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) SFF-8665.
